Post: Early Years Teaching Assistant Level 3

Salary: NJC Level 3A point 5-7, £21,575-£22,369 (pro-rata) £11.18-£11.59/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 08.45 – 15.30  Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri (25 hrs/week)

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and experienced early years teaching assistant (Level 3), with a passion for the early years to join our friendly team. You will work closely with the early years and pre-school leads to ensure the children attending the school have the best start in life, by providing a safe and welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment, in line with the highest Ofsted and EYFS standards.

If you have motivation, drive, passion and creativity for the early years; the ability to work as a team and most importantly have a love for learning and development in the early years we would like to hear from you.

Essential Criteria:

• minimum 1 year experience of working in a similar setting.
• Level 3  Early Years Practitioner/Childcare (or equivalent)
• sound understanding of the EYFS, child development and children’s needs
• passion for a career in childcare
• ability to work well in a small team.

Maulden Lower School is a single form entry village lower school with a pre-school and is able to offer well behaved, engaged children and a learning environment with supportive and friendly staff.  Visits to the school are encouraged.
