Maths
At Maulden Lower School we teach 5 hours of discrete numeracy each week. Children are expected to learn key skills and times tables as part of their weekly homework. The document available below gives an overview of what we teach, this complies with the expectations of the new National Curriculum. In addition to the discrete lessons, children will have Maths lessons that are linked to their half termly 'theme'. This lessons will focus on the children applying the skills they have learnt in their daily discrete lessons.
